Prabowo-Sandi Receives Rp. 54 Billion Campaign Fund Donations, Jokowi-Ma’ruf Rp. 44 Billion

JurnalUpdate. Today, Wednesday is the deadline for the winning team of two candidates for presidential and vice-presidential candidates and political parties participating in the 2019 Election to submit a Report on the Acceptance of Campaign Funds (LPSDK).

Around 11.00 WIB, the National Winning Body (BPN) Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Uno represented by the Director of Material and Debate Sudirman Said and Treasurer Thomas Djiwandono delivered the LPSDK at KPU RI Office, Central Jakarta.

They stated that the LPSDK received by the BPN amounted to Rp. 54 billion, most of which came from candidate pairs namely Sandiaga Uno for Rp. 39.5 billion (73.1 percent) and Prabowo Subianto Rp. 13,054,967,835 or 24.2 percent.

"While the rest was donated by the Gerindra Party Rp. 1,389,942,500 or 2.6 percent; donations from other individual parties Rp. 76,197,500 or 0.1 percent; donations from other parties group Rp. 28,865,500 or 0.1 percent; and bank interest income of Rp. 938,227, "said Thomas Djiwandono to the media crew.

While the National Campaign Team (TKN) Joko Widodo-Ma'ruf Amin represented by treasurer Sakti Wahyu Trenggono and Deputy Chairperson of TKN, Abdul Kadir Karding, arrived at around 3:00 p.m.

The TKN submitted their LPSDK until January 1, 2019 amounting to Rp. 44,086,176,801.

Trenggono stated that the contribution of campaign funds from the candidate pairs was the least.

"Of the two candidates, Rp. 32,049,420; individuals amounting to Rp 121,213,260; political party Rp 2,011,054,983; and the largest of the group contributions is Rp. 37,921,904,138 and from non-government business entities Rp. 3,999,975,000, "explained Trenggono.

Trenggono stated that contributions from the group came from various organizations in the community.
Like one of them from a community group that is engaged in sports, "said Trenggono.
The submission of the LPSDK must be submitted to the RI KPU in accordance with Article 327 paragraph (1) and (2) of Law No. 7 of 2017 concerning Elections.

RI KPU stated that donations from business entities or companies were limited to a maximum of Rp. 25 billion and individuals were limited to Rp. 2.5 billion, including donations from candidate pairs.
